We set up our blogs today, we were given complete freedom to customize the appearance of our blogs. To ensure we are meeting our competencies we learned how to create categories and tags to help us and our prof see where we are in our learning. We also talked about creative commons licencing and the importance of citing your visual resources as well to give credit to the creator. Some really great resources to use when finding images for school or professional work are; Creative Commons, Pixabay, and Unsplash.
Avoiding plagiarism is a big part of many university courses, however I was never taught to cite images in my previous courses and I believe it is equally important to preserve an artist’s work as well as a journal article.
